Operation and maintenance (O&M) activities are critical for long-term mechanical remedial action activities that have long-term operation (e.g., a life-span measured in years). Examples of the activities may include pump-and-treat groundwater remediation systems, air-sparging, air-stripping, vapor extraction systems, long-term natural/enhanced bioremediation and many other proven methods. For each of these, there is the on-going need for ensuring the systems are performing as expected, scheduled maintenance is tracked and completed, mechanical issues are being efficiently corrected, and determining as quickly as if possible problems are developing that require attention. There may also be periodic review requirements, such as the CERCLA five year review requirement.
AEE’s O&M services provide confidence that your treatment systems are performing optimally and achieving the required effectiveness and results. Above and beyond the development, design, and application of the remediation system, AEE utilizes its own experienced staff and technicians to provide start to finish management and environmental oversight of environmental remediation installation projects. Following installation of the remediation system, AEE’s trained technicians perform regular maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs as well as required sampling procedures. The remediation process is therefore expedited by maintaining proper operations of the remediation system and maximizing operational run time. AEE’s experienced field staff maintains all systems installed and designed by AEE as well as existing systems designed by others.
Experienced AEE technicians provide O&M services for the following remedial treatment systems:
AEE is also capable of providing and maintaining temporary rental systems to its clients and maintains an inventory of used remedial equipment for purchase.
